CALL FOR FACULTY SPEAKERS
Beginning this fall, Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in Social Sciences will be offering a new Speaker Series to spotlight the research interests and expertise of Pi Gamma Mu's chapter sponsors! The program will offer lectures from our chapter sponsors on topics of their choice to all Pi Gamma Mu members. The speaker series lectures will be offered via the zoom online platform.
Lecture topics could include (but are not limited to) leadership, social equity, history, public policy, gerontology, economics, anthropology - or any other social science topic. We are particularly interested in topics related to social equity during this inaugural year of the Pi Gamma Mu Speaker Series.
If you are interested in speaking, please send a brief proposal to Allison G. S. Knox, Chancellor of the Southeast Region: [email protected]. We are currently accepting proposals for the 2022-2023 academic year. The deadline for proposal submissions for the 2022-2023 academic year has been extended to September 1, 2022.
