INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES ANNUAL MEETING

The Pi Gamma Mu International Board of Trustees held their annual meeting via ZOOM on November 13-14, 2020.  In a typical year, the Trustees meet in person for their annual meeting, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic the meeting was held online this year.  The Board worked on important Society issues including strategic planning for the future, financial planning, and planning for the 2021 Triennial International Convention which will be held virtually for the first time due to the ongoing risks related to COVID-19.  This is at least the second time in the Society's almost 100-year history that the Board of Trustees has met "virtually".  During World War II, the Trustees decided to handle their business by mail in order to leave as many resources as possible for the war effort.
