2020 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS After much deliberation on the part of the Pi Gamma Mu Awards Committee, the committee's chairperson, Dr. Clara Small, recommended 9 scholarship recipients and 5 alternates to the Board of Trustees. The Trustees awarded scholarships to the following lifetime members of Pi Gamma Mu:

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION DEADLINE FEB. 15Each year, Pi Gamma Mu awards up to 10 scholarships to outstanding members. Three scholarships are worth $2000 each, and the remaining scholarships are worth $1000 each. These scholarships are intended for the first or second year of graduate work in the social sciences. |

2021 TRIENNIAL INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION TO BE HELD VIRTUALLYIn light of on-going developments with COVID-19 and after thoughtful discussions with our Board of Trustees, Pi Gamma Mu has decided to move our 2021 Triennial International Convention to a fully online, virtual experience that will take place in November of 2021. |

INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES ANNUAL MEETINGThe Pi Gamma Mu International Board of Trustees held their annual meeting via ZOOM on November 13-14, 2020. In a typical year, the Trustees meet in person for their annual meeting, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic the meeting was held online this year. The Board worked on important Society issues including strategic planning for the future, financial planning, and planning for the 2021 Triennial International Convention which will be held virtually for the first time due to the ongoing risks related to COVID-19. |

Pi Gamma Mu gives scholarships to students going into a graduate program in social science each year, and much more.
